Join us at the Ruidoso Convention Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico for the second annual NM TIE conference!
When: October 3-5, 2007: Wednesday – Friday
Cost: Registration is only $100 per person for the 2 ½ day event when you register by August 31st ($115 per person after that date). Your registration fee covers all pre-conference workshops and track sessions you wish to attend, entrance into the exhibit hall, welcome social, banquet dinner, lunch and snack on October 4th and lunch on October 5th.
Who should attend: educational professionals in areas of operations including administrators, media specialists, technology specialists, technology coordinating members, managers, analysts, IT trainers, web application staff, database administrators, and others interested in educational technology. The NM conference is the “place to be” to network with K-20 members throughout New Mexico.

Pre-conference workshops and a Welcome Social will be hosted on October 3rd. Pre-conference workshops will take place from 8:30-11:00am and the Welcome Social will take place from 6:30-8:00pm. Track sessions will take place all day on October 4th and half of the day on October 5th. A banquet dinner and show will be hosted on October 4th at the Flying J Ranch. NM TIE will also have other activities to participate in throughout the conference.
Call for papers: This year, the conference will have a theme of, “Mission in Progress - Advancing Technology Partnerships: K-20”. Each accepted presentation will be put into a drawing for a cash prize which will be awarded at the NM TIE Banquet Dinner on October 4th. In addition, conference attendees will vote on the best presentation by filling out a survey at the close of your presentation. Winners will be recognized at the conclusion of the conference on October 5th with an NM TIE plaque. Share your ideas and initiatives by submitting an abstract of your presentation on or before September 1, 2007, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
