Call For Papers

The NM conference is the “place to be” to network with K-20 members throughout New Mexico.

This year’s conference brings together technology leaders and support professionals from both higher education and K-12 along with educational technology vendors to provide new opportunities professional development and human networking. This year, the conference will have a theme of “Mission in Progress - Advancing Technology Partnerships: K-20”.

Show your IT stuff, how you do IT, how IT affects you by submitting a presentation, panel, or tutorial. Each accepted presentation will be put into a drawing for a cash prize which will be awarded at the NM TIE Banquet Dinner on October 4th. In addition, conference attendees will vote on the best presentation by filling out a survey at the close of your presentation. Winners will be recognized at the conclusion of the conference on October 5th with an NM TIE plaque. Best presentation(s) will be published at http://www.nmtie.net/2007/index.php. Note: Group presentations which win awards will receive only one award to be shared in a manner determined by the group.

Submit an abstract of your presentation by providing the title, summary, presenter name, and special need requirements by e-mail on or before September 1, 2007, to conference@nmtie.net. Abstracts should be no more than one page typed with a title not exceeding 60 characters (including spaces). For each presentation NM TIE will provide a laptop with internet access and a projector. Each presentation will be limited to 45 minutes.
